Supervision is a requirement of every practicing therapist for two years following the graduation from a master's counseling program. After graduation MFT-Interns should accomplish the successful completion of a licensing exam, establish a work site to meet with clients, and contract with a supervisor to montior practice with clients, all prior to full licensure.
Julie considers supervision to be the most important step in a therapist's career, and therefore she makes supervision appointments a scheduling priority. Julie conducts supervision as a systemic supervisor, as she uses techniques of role play, live supervision, video supervision, and direct report.
Currently, the rates for supervision is $75 an hour. MFT-Interns must contact Julie directly in order to contract with her for supervision, as well as establish the plan for supervision as required by SC LLR.
